Dying Pines
The pine bore beetles are wreaking havoc on our glorious pine trees on the hill. We're afraid the trees might fall and hit the house someday.

All of the pine trees are dying. Beetles bore into the trunks of the pine trees and as they weaken they put off lots of pine cones to preserve their species because they are distressed. Finally the tree starts rotting and the tops of the trees fall out. The wood becomes decayed or fossilized and hard to bust. It won't be long before we no longer see moonlight shining through the pines.
